Germania Sport: Croatia’s Licensed Bookmaker and Casino, App, Payouts and Login

Germania Sport is a Croatian bookmaker and online casino run by Germania Sport d.o.o., Zagreb, one of the 12 companies licensed for online gambling in Croatia. Its site footer cites a Ministry of Finance decision of 24 April 2026 for online betting and a decision of 4 June 2019 for online casino. The licences cover Croatia only. Accounts are in euros, payouts start at EUR 2 to 10 depending on the method, and self-exclusion runs through Croatia’s national register.

This guide answers what Croatian players search for most about the brand: the casino, the app, logging in, the odds list, payments and responsible-gambling tools. It is information, not promotion. We have no commercial relationship with the operator, so there are no links to its site, no sign-up buttons and no bonus codes. Since the 2025 amendment (NN 72/25, Art. 67.b(8)), Croatian law also bans gambling adverts that invite play with bonuses, free spins and similar benefits, except on licensed operators’ own websites, and we are not an operator. Who runs Germania Sport and what its licences cover

The company is Germania Sport d.o.o., a limited liability company at Radnička cesta 34/A, Zagreb, OIB 75632766837, entered in the court register of the Commercial Court in Zagreb under number 060145417. It runs betting shops, an online sportsbook and an online casino.

The first two lines come from the footer of the live site on 15 October 2026; the 2013 approval is still listed on the help centre’s contact page. To check the licence yourself, open the Croatian Tax Administration’s page on unlicensed online gambling, which lists the 12 licensed online operators, Germania Sport among them.

Where it is not licensed

We found the company on no list outside Croatia: not on the Serbian register, the Federation of BiH list or the Slovenian concession registers. Players in those countries need an operator licensed where they live. Our Serbia and Slovenia guides name them.

Inside Croatia the line between licensed and unlicensed matters more than anywhere else in the region. The Tax Administration publishes a blocklist of more than 1,400 unlicensed gambling domains (version of 9 October 2026), and the law fines taking part in foreign games with stakes paid in Croatia at EUR 1,320 to 6,630 on paper. Germania casino: slots, live tables and quick games

“Germania casino” is searched about as often as the sportsbook, and it is a separate licence: online casino since 4 June 2019. The casino uses the same account and balance as betting. On 15 October 2026 the lobby showed:

• Slots from providers including EGT Digital, Amusnet, Pragmatic Play and Fazi, with titles such as 40 Super Hot, Burning Hot and Shining Crown, plus several own-brand slots.
• Casino uživo (live casino): live roulette and blackjack, including own-brand tables.
• Virtual roulette and quick games (brze igre), among them Aviator and Plinko.
• Lotto betting, virtual football and virtual tennis, which sit between the casino and the sportsbook.

Sportsbook, odds list and results

The Germania kladionica side covers pre-match and live betting with live streams, a downloadable odds list (ponuda) in PDF, results (rezultati), league tables and a ticket-status check. Two rules from the help centre are worth knowing before you bet:

• Handling charge: the help centre lists manipulativni troškovi (a handling charge) of 5% of the stake, and says live betting carries no separate charge.
• Tax: the operator withholds Croatian tax of 10% to 30% of the net win, depending on the amount. The help page still lists the band limits that applied before the 2025 amendment (NN 72/25), so check your payout statement rather than the help page for the exact figure.

Germania app for iPhone and Android

• iPhone and iPad: the App Store app is called GermaniaSport and lists Germania Sport d.o.o. as the seller. On 15 October 2026 it was at version 3.0.12, updated on 8 October 2026, and required iOS 18.0 or later.
• Android: the app is downloaded from the operator’s own website, from its Android page. Your phone has to allow installation from unknown sources for that one file. Older help-centre pages still quote very old minimum versions (iOS 7.0, Android 4.0), so treat the store listing as current.

The app carries the full sportsbook, the casino and live tables, deposits and payouts and the account history. Because the Android file comes from a website rather than a store, check the address before you download: only the official .hr domain is safe. An APK sent by message or posted on a forum can be a modified copy designed to capture logins. Once installed, switch the “unknown sources” setting off again.

Registration and verification in general terms

1. Register: choose a username and password, give your email and your personal details exactly as on your identity document, using Croatian letters (č, ć, š, ž).
2. Activate: click the link in the activation email. If more than 24 hours pass, the help centre says you have to register again.
3. Verify: under the anti-money-laundering law (NN 108/17, 39/19, 151/22), an account that was not verified at registration must be verified before the first deposit or withdrawal. The check runs through an external provider, Blinking: you photograph the front and back of your ID card, or the photo page of your passport, and take a selfie. Failed uploads can be repeated.

Shops use your OIB or username to credit cash to your online account, and the OIB is also the reference number for bank transfers, so it must match the one on your account.

Payment methods and payout rules

All amounts are in euros. The help centre lists these deposit methods and minimums:

Responsible gambling: limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion

The operator’s rules of responsible gambling (dated 30 November 2025) and its help centre describe three levels of control:

• Limits: stake or loss limits, set in your account or by email. When you reach the limit, play stops, and the limit stays in place until you withdraw it.
• Cooling-off: a pause of 24 hours or 7 days, set from the responsible-gambling form in your account. A full account closure is done by email to customer support.
• National self-exclusion: Croatia’s register of excluded players, run by the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ), covers every licensed operator, online and in shops. You can apply through e-Građani or with the HZJZ form at a licensed operator, for three months (irrevocable), six months, one year, three years, five years or permanently. The exclusion becomes active within 24 hours; the operator checks the register daily for online accounts and by OIB in its shops. A revocation can be requested no earlier than three months after the exclusion.

Germania login help (prijava) and phishing clones

The official address is germaniasport.hr, with the help centre on the help. subdomain of the same domain. Type it yourself or use a bookmark rather than following links from ads, posts or messages.

• Username not recognised: usernames are stored in lower case, and Croatian letters are dropped, so “palčić” becomes “palcic”.
• Never activated: the activation link has to be clicked within 24 hours, otherwise you register again.
• Forgotten password: use the forgotten-password link below the login fields. If the reset email does not arrive, write to support from the email address on your account.
• Clones: warning signs are a domain with extra words or a different ending, a login page reached from an ad, or anyone asking for your password. The help centre states that the operator will never ask for it.

The operator moved to a new website and app recently, and the help centre still keeps guides for the old version. If a guide does not match what you see, look for the one marked for the new site.

Germania compared with other Croatian licensees

All four companies below are on the Croatian Tax Administration’s list of online licensees, so all four are covered by the national self-exclusion register and withhold winnings tax the same way. The table sticks to what the list and the operators’ own pages show; odds and offers change too often to compare on a static page.

Frequently asked questions about Germania Sport

Is Germania Sport licensed in Croatia?

Yes. Germania Sport d.o.o., Zagreb, is one of the 12 online operators on the Croatian Tax Administration list. Its site footer cites a Ministry of Finance decision of 24 April 2026 for online betting (KLASA UP/I-461-04/25-02/586) and one of 4 June 2019 for online casino (KLASA UP/I-461-03/19-01/7). The licences cover Croatia only.

Is Germania casino the same account as the sportsbook?

Yes. The online casino runs under its own 2019 casino decision, but you use the same account, balance and app for slots, live tables, quick games and sports betting. Limits you set apply to the account, and an exclusion through the national register at the Croatian Institute of Public Health blocks both the casino and the sportsbook.

What is the minimum withdrawal at Germania?

The help centre lists EUR 5.00 for a payout to your current account or at a shop, EUR 2.00 through Aircash and EUR 10.00 through Skrill. Bank payouts are processed the next day, requests made on Friday or at the weekend on Monday, with up to three working days in total. Payouts are free of charge.

How are Germania winnings taxed?

Croatian betting winnings are taxed at 10% to 30% of the net win, depending on the amount, and the operator withholds the tax before paying you. The 2025 amendment to the gambling law (NN 72/25) changed the bands, while the operator’s help page still shows the older limits, so rely on your payout statement. The help centre also lists a 5% handling charge on stakes.

Why can’t I log in to my Germania account?

Usernames are saved in lower case and without Croatian letters such as č or š, so palčić becomes palcic. If you never clicked the activation link, it expires after 24 hours and you must register again. Otherwise use the forgotten-password link on the official site. The operator says it will never ask for your password.

How do I self-exclude from Germania?

For a short break, choose a 24-hour or 7-day cooling-off period in your account. For a longer one, use Croatia’s register of excluded players: apply through e-Građani or with the form at the operator, for three months (irrevocable), six months, one, three or five years, or permanently. The exclusion applies within 24 hours at every Croatian operator.
