Meridianbet: Licences by Country, App, Payouts and Casino Explained

Meridianbet runs three licensed sites: Serbia, Republika Srpska and Montenegro. Companies, licence numbers, app, payouts and help, checked 15 Oct 2026.

Market: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Albania, Bulgaria

Independent The operators on this page are listed because they hold a licence in the country we cover. We do not link to them, and no operator pays to appear or to change its place. Editorial policy

Meridianbet is a bookmaker and online casino brand that runs a separate licensed site in each country it serves. In Serbia the operator is MERIDIAN TECH D.O.O. BEOGRAD, listed by the regulator with its .rs domain; in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the .ba site holds a Republika Srpska licence; in Montenegro, the .me site is run by a Podgorica company. It is not licensed in Croatia, Slovenia or the Federation of BiH. Since April 2024 the group has belonged to the US-listed Golden Matrix Group.

This guide covers what people look up most about the brand: the app, logging in, the casino section, payment methods, payout limits and the responsible-gambling tools, country by country. It is information only. We have no commercial relationship with the operator, so there are no links to its sites, no sign-up buttons and no bonus figures. Every fact below was checked on 15 October 2026 against the regulator’s list or the operator’s own pages. For the wider market, start at our guide to licensed betting sites in the Balkans.

Who runs Meridianbet and where it is licensed

The name is shared across borders, but each website belongs to a different local company with its own licence. An account opened in one country does not work on another country’s site.

Country site Company named by the site or regulator Licence or approval Regulator Status on 15 Oct 2026
meridianbet.rs (Serbia) MERIDIAN TECH D.O.O. BEOGRAD, registration no. 08724636 Approval no. 000-424-00-00039/2013 of 11 February 2015, as stated on the operator’s site Uprava za igre na sreću On the register of online operators
meridianbet.ba (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Meridian Tech d.o.o., Banja Luka, registration no. 1828711 Licence 06.05/463-40/23 of 8 June 2023 Ministry of Finance of Republika Srpska Entity licence; not on the Federation of BiH online list
meridianbet.me (Montenegro) Meridianbet d.o.o., Podgorica, PIB 02353318 Decision 03/1-424/21-212/3, as cited in the site footer Uprava za igre na sreću (Montenegro) On the government’s July 2025 concession list; no list under the 2025 law found

You can confirm the Serbian entry yourself on the Serbian regulator’s register of online operators, where MERIDIAN TECH D.O.O. BEOGRAD appears with its Serbian domain. Approvals under Serbia’s 2020 law run for ten years, so the register is a better check than any number printed on a page. In Montenegro the 2004 law was replaced on 14 August 2025, and the last published list (2 July 2025) was drawn up under the old rules. Our Serbia guide, Bosnia and Herzegovina guide and Montenegro guide explain each system.

Ownership: Golden Matrix Group

On 9 April 2024 Golden Matrix Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GMGI), based in Las Vegas, announced that it had completed its purchase of the MeridianBet Group and its related companies. The press release filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission describes MeridianBet as founded in 2001 and licensed in 15 jurisdictions across Europe, Africa and South America. The local companies in the table above remain the licence holders in each country.

Where Meridianbet is not licensed

  • Croatia: not among the 12 online licensees on the Croatian Tax Administration list. Taking part in foreign games with stakes paid in Croatia is a misdemeanour on paper, with fines of EUR 1,320 to 6,630.
  • Slovenia: online gambling is limited to concession holders (Casino Portorož for casino games, Loterija Slovenije and Športna loterija for classic games).
  • Federation of BiH: the Federal Ministry of Finance list of 30 September 2026 does not include a Meridian company. The Federation’s law prohibits playing games of operators without its approval when stakes are paid from the Federation, though it sets no fine for adult players.
  • North Macedonia and Albania: North Macedonia moves internet games to a state-owned company from 1 January 2027, and Albania has issued no online betting licence.

The Serbian site says the same thing from its side: its list of countries from which the Serbian site cannot be used includes Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Hungary and Germany, among others. Each country site serves its own country only.

Meridianbet app: iOS, Android and Huawei

Each country has its own app (in the local language, “aplikacija”), and the apps are not interchangeable: install the one that matches the site where your account is registered.

  • iOS: the App Store lists Meridianbet.RS, Meridianbet.BA and Meridianbet.ME as separate apps. On 15 October 2026 all three showed version 7.3.7, updated on 25 September 2026, with Meridian Gaming Ltd. as the seller and iOS 15.2 or later required.
  • Android: the Serbian site’s app page links to a Google Play listing and to Huawei AppGallery, so Android users do not need a manual installation file for the Serbian app.
  • Mobile site: the same account also works in a phone browser on the official domain.

Two habits keep you safe. First, open the store listing from the official site’s own app page rather than searching the store, because look-alike apps appear from time to time. Second, compare the seller name with the one above before you install. If someone sends you an “updated” APK by message, delete it.

Registration and verification in general terms

Serbian online operators must identify every player before taking bets, and the operator’s terms follow that rule. In practice the steps are:

  1. Register on the site for your country with your real name, date of birth and contact details. The Serbian site also offers a shorter “quick registration” form.
  2. Confirm that you are at least 18. The operator’s Serbian responsible-betting page says it does not accept bets from anyone under 18 and that identity documents are needed as proof.
  3. Verify the account by uploading a photo of a valid passport or ID card. The terms allow the operator to ask for a selfie holding the document, and to ask again when your document expires.
  4. Keep one account only. The terms allow the operator to close duplicate accounts and void their bets.

The help centre is explicit about the reason: winnings are paid only to the account holder, so an unverified account cannot withdraw. If your details do not match your document exactly, fix that first, because it is the most common cause of a blocked payout.

Payment methods and payout rules

The rules differ by country site. The figures below come from the Serbian and Bosnian help centres as published on 15 October 2026.

Serbia: the .rs site

Deposits can be made by payment card, IPS Scan instant payment, A voucher and Vcash vouchers, e-banking, payment slip at a bank or post office, and in cash at the operator’s own shops or partner payment points such as Payspot, AltaPay, Moj Kiosk and Paralela locations. Withdrawals go to one of its shops, a Payspot location, your current account by bank transfer, or through Pošta Srbije.

Payout method (Serbia) Minimum per payout Note
Own betting shop 10 RSD Cash; counts toward the monthly cash limit
Bank transfer to your current account 500 RSD Account must be verified
Payspot location 1,000 RSD Partner payout network
Pošta Srbije 500 RSD Maximum 100,000 RSD per payout
Skrill 500 RSD Listed in the minimums table

The maximum is 2,000,000 RSD a day and 3,000,000 RSD a week. Two further rules matter. At least 50% of any deposit has to be used on slots or betting tickets before it can be withdrawn. And since the amended gambling law took effect on 6 January 2025, cash deposits and cash payouts through shops, betting terminals and ticket payouts to the account are each capped at 1,175,000 RSD per calendar month; cards, e-banking, IPS and vouchers do not count toward that cap. Winnings from licensed betting and online casino are not taxed in Serbia (Personal Income Tax Law, Art. 83).

Bosnia and Herzegovina: the .ba site

The Bosnian site lists more deposit routes: Kliker and Xbon vouchers, payment cards, Aircash, m:tel SMS top-up, Boba+ vouchers, Meridian shops, the Lova app, bank or post office, e-banking, Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard (all three in euros) and cryptocurrency. Payouts go to a shop, through Depozitron at Nova banka ATMs, Aircash, bank transfer, the Lova app, cryptocurrency, or Skrill and Neteller for euro accounts.

  • Minimum payout: 0.50 KM in a shop, 10 KM by bank transfer, EUR 3.00 via Skrill or Neteller.
  • Maximum payout: 50,000 KM a week and 100,000 KM a month.
  • At least 50% of a deposit must be played through, or 100% for vouchers, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and Aircash. Withdrawing an unused deposit can cost an administrative fee of up to 35% of the deposit.
  • Checks on casino winnings can take up to 15 days from the day the payout is reserved.

Republika Srpska taxes winnings from betting and internet games at 10% above 1,000 KM, rising to 30% above 100,000 KM, on the payout minus the stake. For how these methods work in general, see our payment methods guide.

Meridianbet casino, live dealer and crash games

The same account and balance cover the casino side. On the Serbian site the menu shows a casino lobby (Kazino), live-dealer games (Igre uživo), the operator’s own Win & Go instant games, number games, virtual sports and crash games such as Aviator and Super Heli. Serbian law licenses online casino through the same approval as betting, with a higher state levy on live-dealer revenue. The Bosnian help centre adds that casino winnings may be checked for up to 15 days before payout, so plan withdrawals accordingly.

Crash games move fast and settle in seconds, which makes losses harder to track than on a betting ticket. Read our Aviator explainer before you try one, and see the online casino guide for how licensed casino play works in each country.

Responsible gambling tools and self-exclusion

Serbia has the strongest system of the three countries. Under Article 95a of the gambling law, every online operator must offer self-exclusion and limits; a self-exclusion lasts at least 24 hours, and a permanent one cannot be revoked for 12 months. The Uprava passes the exclusion to every other licensed online operator where you hold an account, so one request covers the whole Serbian market. Request it through your account or the operator’s support, and set a deposit limit at the same time.

The Montenegrin site’s responsible-betting page states that players can ask to be excluded for a set or indefinite period, that the request is applied within 24 hours, and it names a certified public treatment institution in Podgorica. In Republika Srpska we found no entity-wide self-exclusion register, so the operator’s own limits are the main tool.

  • Serbia: Specijalna bolnica za bolesti zavisnosti (Drajzerova), Belgrade, +381 11 3671 429 or +381 11 2662 727. The operator’s Serbian app page also points to it.
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina: the Federation’s Ministry of Finance lists treatment centres, for example Zavod za bolesti ovisnosti Kantona Sarajevo, 033/257-750. We found no verified line specific to Republika Srpska.
  • Montenegro: we could not verify a helpline on an organisation’s own site, so we print no number.

Our responsible gambling page lists every country’s options.

Meridianbet login help and phishing clones

The official addresses are meridianbet.rs, meridianbet.ba and meridianbet.me. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark; do not follow “login” links from ads, social media posts or messages, because fake login pages copy the design to collect passwords.

  • Wrong country: a Serbian account logs in only on the .rs site. If your username “does not exist”, check the domain first.
  • Forgotten password: use the forgotten-password option on the official site; the reset link goes to the email address on your account.
  • Account blocked or payouts refused: usually an unfinished verification or details that do not match your ID. Contact support through the official site.
  • Clones: warning signs are a domain with extra words or a different ending, a request for card details before login, or a “support agent” asking for your password or a code by chat. The real operator never needs your password.

We do not publish alternative or “mirror” addresses. If the official site will not load where you are, that is often because the site is not licensed for your country.

Meridianbet compared with other licensed Serbian bookmakers

All four companies below are on the Serbian register of online operators. The comparison sticks to facts we could verify from the register and the App Store on 15 October 2026; odds and bonuses change too often to compare fairly here. Our guides to Mozzart and MaxBet cover those brands in detail.

Brand Company on the Serbian register Registration no. Other country licences we verified iOS app seller
Meridianbet MERIDIAN TECH D.O.O. BEOGRAD 08724636 Republika Srpska (licence 06.05/463-40/23); Montenegro (old-law list) Meridian Gaming Ltd.
Mozzart MOZZART D.O.O. BEOGRAD 20655364 Federation of BiH (Mozzart BH Play); not licensed in Croatia MOZZART DOO BEOGRAD (PALILULA)
MaxBet MAX BET D.O.O. BEOGRAD 07854293 Republika Srpska (KRIJCOS d.o.o. Bijeljina); Montenegro (Arua Ltd., old law) MAX BET DOO
Soccerbet PHUKET D.O.O. BEOGRAD 20747633 Serbia only verified PHUKET d.o.o.

For a Serbian player the practical differences are the payout network (shops, Payspot, post office), the minimums and the app. Self-exclusion works the same way at all four, because the regulator relays it to every licensed online operator.

How we checked this page

On 15 October 2026 we read the Serbian regulator’s register of online operators, the Federation of BiH operators list of 30 September 2026 and the Croatian Tax Administration’s list of 12 online licensees. We read the Bosnian and Montenegrin site footers, the Serbian site’s responsible-betting page with its approval number, the Serbian help-centre pages on payouts, verification, cash limits and restricted territories, the Bosnian help-centre pages on deposits and payouts, and the Montenegrin responsible-betting page, fetched through local connections because the sites block some foreign visitors. App versions and seller names come from the App Store listings, and ownership from Golden Matrix’s SEC exhibit of 9 April 2024. Frequently asked questions about Meridianbet

Is Meridianbet licensed in Serbia?

Yes. MERIDIAN TECH D.O.O. BEOGRAD (registration number 08724636) is on the Uprava za igre na sreću register of online operators with its .rs domain, read on 15 October 2026. Its own site cites approval no. 000-424-00-00039/2013 of 11 February 2015. Approvals run for ten years under the 2020 law, so check the register rather than relying on an old number.

Which company runs Meridianbet in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

The Bosnian site’s footer names Meridian Tech d.o.o., Banja Luka (registration number 1828711), with licence 06.05/463-40/23 issued on 8 June 2023 by the Ministry of Finance of Republika Srpska. That is an entity licence. The company is not on the Federation of BiH list of online operators dated 30 September 2026.

Can I use Meridianbet from Croatia or Slovenia?

No licensed option exists. The brand is not one of Croatia’s 12 online licensees, and Slovenia allows online gambling only through its concession holders. The Serbian site also lists Croatia and Slovenia among the countries from which it cannot be used. Croatian law sets fines of EUR 1,320 to 6,630 for taking part in foreign games with stakes paid in Croatia.

What is the maximum withdrawal at Meridianbet Serbia?

The Serbian help centre states a maximum of 2,000,000 RSD a day and 3,000,000 RSD a week from an online account. Minimums depend on the method: 10 RSD at a betting shop, 500 RSD by bank transfer, Pošta or Skrill, and 1,000 RSD at Payspot locations. The account must be verified before the first payout.

Where do I download the Meridianbet app?

Use the links on your own country site. The App Store has separate Meridianbet.RS, Meridianbet.BA and Meridianbet.ME apps, listed by Meridian Gaming Ltd. (version 7.3.7 on 15 October 2026, iOS 15.2 or later). The Serbian site also links to Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. Avoid APK files from download portals.

Why can’t I log in to Meridianbet?

Check that you are on the right country site, because a Serbian account does not work on the Bosnian or Montenegrin site. Then use the forgotten-password option on the official site. If the account is unverified or the details you entered do not match your ID, contact support from the official domain. Never type your password into a page reached from an ad or a message.

18+ only (21+ in Albania). Gambling can be addictive; stake only what you can afford to lose.
